"How Great Thou Art" How quickly we went through the Lent and celebrated the most important season of the year, Easter. I always feel encouraged by the Mass attendance on Easter day. The church was overflowed with parishioners, their families and visiting Catholics. It was truly great that we came together as the people of God to give thanks to the precious gift we have been given - our salvation by the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. There is nothing greater than this act of love.

After the Easter celebration, life went back to normal. Amidst my daily routine, often I fail to appreciate the awesome goodness God has shown me. I was clouded by worldly worries, doubts and uncertainties. Isn't that Easter a reminder that God has triumphed over death; that God loves us enough to be the sacrificial lamb for our salvation? With such knowledge and gift, what shall we fear?

This hymn, "How Great Thou Art," is a simple reminder of the awesome power and love of God culminated on Easter. At the same time it also prompts us to sing with joyful heart and proclaim his mighty works. Amen.
