CouncilsParish Advisory Council
The Parish Advisory Council was established in 2005 and meets approximately once a month to give suggestions for building up the parish community. Members of this group also volunteer to do much of the work that turns the suggestions into reality. There is a regular roster of members, but anyone who is interested is invited to attend the meetings. Announcements are made in the bulletin regarding meeting dates. For more detail go the the Advisory Council page.
The Stewardship Council coordinates activities to communicate, educate and support stewardship in any and all facets of parish life. Stewardship is living the command of Christ to follow Him in caring for the gifts God has given us: ourselves, our families, our parish community, and our world, the earth and all its inhabitants. Members of this group spearhead the parish Ministry Fair and coordinate activities to encourage parishioners to share their time, talent and treasure in the parish. For more detail go the the Stewardship Council page.
The parish finance council was established at St. Joseph of Cupertino in 1993 in conformity with the Code of Canon Law and the directives of the Bishop of San Jose. Council members advise the pastor in all matters pertaining to parish finances. For more detail go the the Finance Council page.
